in the state of TN you can only go to Two hospitals In Nashville if u have insurance through the market place and if you call to schedule an appointment your going to wait at least 3 months to even see a doctor what a rip off from the State and the government allows it. HEALTHCARE.GOV is a joke

I tried to enroll my family into healthcare.gov they sent me the info saying that 2 children got sent to medicaide and 2 or on chip. Called Texas health and human services and they said Serenity was denied because she had insurance. She has not been covered under insurance in almost 6mths. I called the “agent” James Cox @ (949) 988-****. And he tells me there is nothing he can do for me…HOW ARE YOU AN AGENT if you cannot fix your mistakes? I have been on hold with texas health and human services for three days and it seems that once you sign up the GOVERNMENT doesn’t care about you. Now all my kids are covered except for ONE!

Be wary of entering your info for quotes n website!

Be wary of entering your info on OBAMACARE.ORG website for insurance quotes. Within seconds I started receiving calls and emails regarding quotes morning, noon and night almost seems like harassment. Some reps where abrupt and hung up, other times I would answer the phone and no one would be there. My time is valuable and as much as my healthcare is important, this is interfering with life. A big mistake on my part, learn from it and take this into consideration when proceeding as I did. I have contacted the organization and hope that they will remove my info from the calling lists, hopefully they will.

Obama Care is such convoluted fiasco.

I am a retired school teacher and my medical insurance has been paid by my severance package. Our secretary failed to submit the drug coverage part of my insurance plan. I never knew this and 14 months later, I switched plans. At this time, the failure to have a drug plan in place was discovered. Under the rules of Obama Care I will pay a monthly penalty Afro the rest of my life for this clerical mistake. My penalty isn't just for the 14 months I was on my previous plan. The penalty must be paid monthly on all future premiums for the rest of my life. Also, wasn't Obama Care meant to also control the cost of medical insurance if not decrease the cost. How come my premium keeps going up and up and up? Obama's legacy is a joke.

Cost

The cost of insurance through the Marketplace for 2015 was good compared to the cost for 2016. They raised the rates and raised the deductibles. My income is above the level for assistance. My yearly cost for a PPO which my doctors accept is $607 per month. With the doctors visits, prescription and co pays hte yearly total comes to about $10000.00 a year. This is absolutely a poor program for everyone. There is no way the average person, yet alone the below average person can afford coverage. What has this country came to be? With big government going to help everyone, everything is getting worse. The higher class is getting bigger and the middle class, even though working, is shrinking to the lower class.

You might want to start listening to Michael Savage on WJR in the afternoon at 3 o'clock. Paying 10 grand a year for health insurance is nuts and a scam.

Poor customer service

I am helping my aunt with her insurance. Her income changed slightly so I went online and made the changes and attached the verification. It went fine and she got a letter stating everything is fine. A month later she got a letter saying she had problems with her income. I call customer service and they told me they are having problems with the computers and several people are having this problem. She then said I had to go through the application process again, resubmit the verification again, and then gave me a several minute lecture on filing change. When I told her I did report the changes a month ago, she admitted the computer is going mad, and how do I know this time will be done right? The lady said I am going to hang up on you if you don't stop talking to me like that. I said I am not talking to you any way, I am asking a question. She then hung up on me. The next person I talked to, yelled at me for at least 5 minutes on why I am suppose to report change, I listened, I said I know I have been trying to do this for the third time and both woman I talked to admitted the computer is not working properly and people are having issues which require them to submit the application again. I was not happy and they could probably tell in my voice but I never raised my voice or swore. I said I already did this but can we just do it again because I don't have time for all of this? Then I got a 5 minute speech on respect. I then just asked if she would quit yelling at me so we could get this change done? She told me she will talk to me about it as long as she wants and I am to listen to her or else she is going to hang up on me. I said lets be professional and just get to the application done. She then started lecturing me on how professional they are and why they do what they do. I said okay lets get this done I don't have time to argue. She then called me rude and said she refused to work with me. I said let me talk to your supervisor and when I got to the supervisor, she didn't let me talk or complain or anything, she said I can't help you need to hang up and call back for the next person and maybe they will help you. She then hung up on me. The third rep I talked to I was in butt kissing mode because I needed to get it done and she wouldn't help me because I had to get my aunts check stubs and junk that I just submitted to them a month ago. My Aunt even received a letter stating they got all of the verification info and everything is fine. Now we have to do all of that over again. How much time and running around do they think I have? Why am I doing all of this work for their mistake? Why are these people venting on the consumer without getting anything done? Just because they are yelling at people doesn't mean they are working. The supervisor is no better and she is mismanaging her workers because they are a reflection of her. Every person I was talking to from there was taking out their life issues on anyone whom called. Very unprofessional and goes to show we are to bow down to our government if we want them to work for us. Even then we got nothing done, so I guess I get all of her recent information and start all over again.

I've had to call the marketplace on too many occasions and have gotten a mix of rude and nice reps, the problem is that they are ALL incompetent. It took 4 separate calls over three months just to get them to contact Anthem insurance to update my address!

Anthem would not allow me, the consumer, the one PAYING for the insurance, to update my own address - it has to be done by the marketplace.

I then had a problem with income verification that required "escalation." The first two reps I spoke with assured me that they would escalate my issue, so when a few weeks passed and without hearing anything I called and was told that neither of the previous agents escalated the issue at all, and now it was up to me to file an appeal with the marketplace. Of course, marketplace supervisors (stupidvisors) were no help.

you have to wait for hours how come the government advertise this website and not enough employees are there to assist our matter then they give me one quote the insurance charge 10 dollars more it should not be that way what kind of law Obama has done for us I can wait until he leaves this presidency and the people he appoint in the agencies. why the Obama care do not audit the insurance the have under their umbrella Molina is the worst and I thought the government should control the rates! What kind of customer representatives you have at Marketplace they can even understand spelling of words they do not speak English! why do not hire other than African American they do not help Spanish speaker and do not know how to spell words

Healthcare Gov Tax Credit Review from Henderson, Nevada

This company refused to send me my tax form when I called 5 times reminding them 4-5 months in advance. They said I was a complicated one and in April had to take tax info over the phone by a very rude representative. I am glad I saved all payments I made which matched the information. I to this day still don't have a form. They are crooks. In the end, I ended up owing money even though I was insured. They are a joke. Do not ever go for their plans.

The site never works, the customer service reps don't know anything you can't figure out yourself, after major issues with being dropped by the marketplace called in to terminate, the rep argues about coverage with me and then hangs up on me. How do these people keep jobs? The worst customer service and website... worst joke of a healthcare solution! Can't wait to get rid of obamacare!

Harassment!

Did the obamacare application which has sparked a large amount of telephone calls from all over the nation most of which when i answered they hung up right away. Half i was put on hold.

I was looking at plans and after the first person i talked to they helped me find what i really needed and i have insurance!

It has been 3 days and i get 50 calls every day! This is getting out of hand I am not very happy, with how these companies dont respect me telling them that i do not want to be on the call list any more and that i believe that they shoudl be able to put me on a list that doesnt allow them to see my name anymore

"30 days to process"

I applied though the Health Insurance Marketplace and was told I was eligible for Medicaid, and that I would be hearing from the Medicaid office. I received both an email and letter with the above information. A month later, after not hearing back, I called the Marketplace, and was told I needed to contact the Medicaid office. When I called the Medicaid office, they informed me they never received my application. I called the Marketplace back, and was told over and over that it takes 30 days to process my application, and I should apply directly through the Medicaid office. This didn't make sense, since it had been 30 days, and the Medicaid office said a new application would take 45 days. I spoke to a supervisor, and after a long, painful conversation, she said that the 30 days of processing are on the end of Medicaid, and that likely, the "system" didn't send over my application. She said should could do nothing, it wasn't their fault, and basically, "sorry not sorry." So I wasted a month waiting while I was uninsured and have to reapply directly through Medicaid. What's worse, is they never would have told me if I hadn't kept pushing.

Had coverage threw the narket place threw the Obama health care what a joke, payed all premiums up till July 31st Aug 1st they said my premiums went from 132 to 1080. Month I about fell out of my chair. They of for husbands meds saying I was a active till Nov 15th but cancelled April 30 th. ??????? Asked market place for another policy lol! They tried to give me an insurance that I could only use Drs that was 6 hours away. Then told me my premium would be 1380. Monthly for 2 people! Omg what tax break is that
