I made life changes on the Health Insurance Marketplace web site on January 28, 2017. I have the letter generated by the Health Insurance Marketplace with the changes.

They are now saying that I did not call them to "confirm" the changes. This now has my premium at $2,000.00 per month. Why in the world would the Health Insurance Marketplace be involved in my health care when I am not eligible for a subsidy. Subsidy's are the reason for runaway heath care costs.

I am now going to send the appeal to the; Health Insurance Marketplace ATTN: Apparels 465 Industrial Blvd London, KY 40750-**** So now they can ignore it. Any advice on how to get anything done with the Health Insurnace Marketplace?

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

After making two payments in 2014 for insurance that I purchased through Covered California. I concluded, because of life changes that I could no longer afford my health insurance and would take the penalty from the IRS, come tax time.

My insurance was never cancelled as I thought it had been and in 2015 the IRS sent me a letter stating that I owed $4,300. I spent all of 2015 trying to rectify the situation through Covered California through the IRS and through my health insurance that I never had. I ended up paying $4,200 dollars to the IRS in 2016 and still owe them, in 201* ***.00 of those dollars. My savings has been depleted.

I recently had to apply for health insurance again through Covered California and have a monthly payment of $72.83. However my deductible for medical care is $2,400 and for any prescriptions, $250. If that wasn't bad enough, I called Covered California yesterday because they sent me a letter saying that I needed to verify my income through paycheck stubs, I'm currently on workers comp., I mention that to the representative and he then told me that I should be on Medicare and then I will probably get billed in 2018 for not having taxable income when I question this further he blatantly said to me that he really didn't know what to think and that I should talk to the IRS. Because of the stress strain and emotional havoc Covered California has brought me not to mention the financial burden, I feel as if they should be paying me for post-traumatic stress disorder.

I suffer from a mild case of depression and anxiety which I am on medication for and Obama's health care law has magnified my mental health situation. The media never talks about what is happened to all of the people that have paid and paid for Obama's healthcare and the media doesn't talk about how many people have been hurt by it.

If someone started a movement I would be front and center supporting it all the way. Covered California, Obama's Affordable Care Act needs to be eliminated

I wish I knew! I'm going through a similar situation.

I called last year to get my insurance canceled and for some reason it wasn't done. Now I'm in limbo waiting for the Market Place to change my tax forms so I can get my taxes done. The form currently says I was insuranced through Market Place all of 2016.

I was on the insurance until the end of September. Every time I call I get the run around.
